GUSC will be holding trial days for our Junior boys teams during the week of December 3rd. This is a fantastic opportunity for our club to move forward as the football landscape is changing in 2020.

U12/U13/U14 Start Times: 6:15pm
U15/U16/U17 Sart Times: 7:30pm
All trials are to be held at Barrymore Rd Reserve, Greenvale (Unless notified otherwise)
There is no cost to trial, they are free to attend.
All players must register for the trials by arriving 45mins prior to starting time
Announcements of squad positions may happen at anytime after any trial.

Do players from squads from previous years get automatic allocation or exemption?
New and existing players are graded on equal terms. There is no priority in regards to players club of origin, ethnic origin, or player’s relationship to any other club member within the club. Each player is judged on a predetermined playing ability criteria during the trials.

When will I be informed of my position in the team?
Players will be informed by letter of offers to the players via email.
How many players will there be in each age group/team?
GUSC propose to run with squads of 16-18 players for U13’s and above. This may include two goalkeepers.
Due to the restructured U12 format, the U12’s will require squads of 13-15
Who will conduct trials?
Trials will be overseen by the clubs Technical Director, President, Coaches and Junior Co-ordinator, assessing players of every age group.
