Player Registration Information

Training for all teams will occur twice a week, unless there is a clash with Cricket, as we have a shared tenancy at Barrymore Rd Reserve during the summer months. This should only only occur a couple times between January and late March, however the club will try to accommodate training at an alternative venue where possible.

All training sessions will be held at Barrymore Rd Reserve unless an alternative venue is required due to the above mentioned reasons.


What are the fees?

  • Miniroos (U7-U11) – $600
  • Junior Girls – Through the generosity of our sponsors, there will be no registration fees payable in Season 2022
  • Junior Boys – $750
  • Senior Teams – TBA

When are my fees due?

Balance of registration fees are due by Monday 31st January 2022.

Can I organise a payment plan?

GUSC have partnered with OpenPay to provide a flexible payment solution for you.

Why do I need to pay a $200 deposit?

The $200 deposit secures your spot in a team.

When do I size up for my playing kit?

Uniform sizing for most players has occurred, if you missed one of
our sizing sessions we will advise you when to attend the club.

Which registration package do I select?

Registrations are based on the age the player will be by the end of the 2022 season (31st December 2022). For example, if the player is turning 15 in that time then they will be playing U15’s for season 2022.

If I change my mind, do I get my deposit back?

What if I want my child to play up or down an age group?

All players need to be registered in the appropriate age group based on their age. However, the club at their discretion can make a call based on the club and player needs to have them play up or down their official age group. There are a number of factors that need to be considered for this to occur and it will depend on their skill and knowledge of the game as well as we have a duty of care for the player both mentally and physically.

If you are considering playing your child in a lower age group, there is certain criteria that need to be met as per Football Victoria guidelines. If a player meets this criteria then the club will request a dispensation for the player to play at a lower age group to help them develop their skills and knowledge of the game and need to be approved by Football Victoria.

Will there be trials?

Under no circumstances will the club have trials for the Miniroos. For age groups of U7’s to U11’s is all about helping the kids understand and learn the game while having fun. The club has a max quota per team and age group. Once all spots are full then the player registering will be placed on a waiting list until we have enough players for another team or if a spot becomes available within the team.

With regard to Junior teams (U12’s to U18’s), the club will try to accommodate every player, however if there is a need for trials then the club will notify all parents and players accordingly.

The selection criteria is not just based on skill but also dedication, willing to learn and develop.
